I assume everyone of us had, in one way or another, been guilty of piracy. Piracy in IT terms refer to stealing information in the web. I personally am guilt of illegaly downloading movies, songs, and copy pasting articles and forget to cite the source. This is violating the patent or the right to distribute by the authority. In my opinion, as long as the media or information is not stolen in a way that will discredit the works of the author and claiming it is yours. That is plagiarism. I think that as an art, some works must not be withheld

But technology's security is more than protecting people from fraud. It is also important to keep some informations from other peole has that is very confidential and must not be known by other people like credit cards. People around the world, especially outside the Philippines, has been victims wherein the cheater will demand the customer's credit car number and use it to purchase their personal stuffs.
